Nudism and sex......

Jul 24, 2008
Well, I know I dont say too much on here, lol, but I dunno if anyone bothers reading what I put on here anyway, so....

Well, I DID at least add a couple photos to my gallery tonight, if anyone cares to view. Mostly just cause Im REALLY bored.

I notice something on this site though.... there's alot of more sexually-oriented photos on here than I'd expect from a nudism site.

Is that such a bad thing though?

I know some people get this idea that goes something like "Omigod this guy has an erection, he's a perv" or maybe "look at what that girl is doing, what's that got to do with blahblahblah".

Frankly I get sick of such whining.

Lets face it; we're not much different from animals in the simple fact that we as a species have a desire for sex wired into our brains.

And what's so wrong with that?

As far as Im concerned,

if "Nudism" is "acceptance of the body", then it should be acceptance in ALL forms. An erect penis shouldnt suddenly make the body some awful thing to be avoided.

I cant stand hypocritical crap like that.

I like nudism, yes. I really do. There's so often when I wanna be able to just take off my clothes when Im outside, simply to enjoy the air and sun without stupid clothing getting in the way.

But you know what? I have my sexual side too. I have the same desires as anyone else. I look at porn, same as so many do....

Omigod, isnt that just TERRIBLE?

And what makes it worse.....

Im gay.

Oh no! That's even WORSE, isnt it???

I mean, good grief.

I'll admit it; I have my exhibitionist side. Sometimes I like showing off my naked pics for reasons other than nudism. I generally do that on other sites though.

Is that really so damn AWFUL though? Who says I cant express my sexual side? Nobody, that's who. Not if they know what's good for them, heh.

As such, onto this site, I have gone and posted, into my gallery, exactly one picture of me with an erection. And it's still a danged innocent pic, even with that.

If anyone has such a blasted problem with that? They should, then, stay away from me and my gallery.... *I* am fully in touch with my sexual side, unlike so many others in this country.

Sorry, I know, bizarre blog post, but a conversation with a friend got the whole issue into my mind.

I am also, as I said above, *really* bored, or I wouldnt bother typing all this out.....

Need something to do..... blah..... bored......

I agree.

I dont have any problems seeing an erection or something like that on here.... I mean, if it's a guy I think is good looking, I might enjoy seeing it a bit. Just a nice added bonus, I think.

But those that post up, as their profile pics, just a closeup of their "parts", that does indeed bother me.

I might be in touch with my sexual side, sure, but this IS still a nudism site. I dont mind seeing "sexy" pics as an add-on in a gallery, and I might have a couple of my own, but if that's ALL there is to someone's gallery? They're missing the point of the site, then, I think.

Cant win 'em all though.... this IS the Net, and it's fulla unrestrained chaos....

In addition to the wonderful, thoughtful comments already made, I can only offer this little bit.

I believe all aspects of our behavior are driven by biological impetus or physiological stimuli, and this includes the desire to see and experience nakedness in a "nasty", erotic or pleasurable manner. There are hormones that drive us towards actions, other chemicals that make sexual arousal possible, and finally calming chemicals released after mating or achieving sexual release.

Life is about "balance" and moderation in all our activities, and obviously we have many, many things we want or need to accomplish in life. The balancing act is what we do in devoting a portion of our time to work, eating, gathering food, preparing shelter, selecting and pursuing a mate, raising children, etcetera. Some people have GREAT abilities to balance all these tasks and others not so much; some become "work-aholics", others permanent students (in college), some dedicated homemakers and parents (full-time work in itself) and others in less well-regarded pursuits.

To me there is nothing wrong, inappropriate or immoral about looking at pornography just as long as you remember it IS intentionally "sexualized" and designed to evoke the feelings you experience. Some people do not have those feelings but it takes a lifetime of training to suppress them and resist or manage the naturally occurring urges; and there are some people with physiological deficiencies who naturally DO NOT feel arousal - perfectly normal.

Our human forms are "designed" perfectly to interact with our environment, each other and EVEN imagine the impossible or highly improbable (extreme recreation, dreaming, "out-of-body" experiences and extreme sex-acts, for example). We are self-validating of some sort of intentional influences (either a creator or evolution) because anything we CANNOT experience IS impossible! Example: I cannot "phase shift" the solid structure of my hand in a way that allows it to pass through a solid object (wall, table, rock, etc.) even though I am able to imagine an activity such as this; it WAS NOT "designed in" or "evolved in" to my being.

We must have been intended to feel pain because we can.
We must have been intended to feel orgasms because we can.

It would have been just as natural to have procreative sex without the "bang" of an orgasm at the end, but apparently this conclusion to the act serves a purpose. It is a simple and self-evident as laughter being the result of exposure to comedy and humor.

If we were all completely comfortable and "at ease" with the intense feelings of sexual arousal and could manage them IN ALL CASES, then we would think nothing more of these feelings than we do of sneezing, shivering, crying or becoming hungry. However, as a species we are still "learning" to manage our responses to arousal and deal with the chemical reactions naturally occurring within us when we become "hot and bothered". Our advantage over the "animal kingdom" is our ability to balance our needs and activities, to control our responses, and work collectively to achieve other things such as farms, banks, roads, art, music and (pretty much) everything else animals DO NOT possess.

If, as a society or practice of social convention, we were completely comfortable with the pleasurable feelings of orgasm, then we would probably be giving them to each other all the time and in a wider variety of settings! ("O" salons, "O" parlors, "O" bars and drive-thru "O" providers... Heh! ~ Good grief! I cannot even type orgasm that many times... Perhaps even drinks, smokes and chewing gum that all cause them! ~ However, this would be a world "out of balance" and against a naturally occurring "order" to things.)

So, have your pornography but remember to balance it in your life.
Practice nudism but fit it in with the other collective achievements you are contributing towards.
Worship (treasure, value) our ancestors and the wisdom set forth in ALL religious texts.
And cherish your senses and values and teach them to your children and others whenever you can!

That is all I have to offer. Take from it what you will.
